We have been continuously taking on new patients at the practice however due to the backlog of patients caused by covid-19 we are unable to currently take on any new patients.

Please note the practice remains closed on a Saturday and Sunday.
To access services at The NHS Liverpool Road Dental Practice you will need to make an appointment for a dental assessment. At this first appointment you will be asked to complete a Medical History form and discuss your dental health with our dentist.
To book an appointment simply telephone the practice and you will be offered a mutually convenient appointment time. Urgent and emergency treatment will be provided within 24 hours wherever possible.
Depending upon your needs and the availability of our dental team you can choose to see any of our dentists. Simply let us know who you want to see when you book your appointment and we will do our best to accommodate your choice. For further information on our dentists please read the 'Meet the Team' section. If at any time you would like a second opinion from any of the other dentists in the practice please do not hesitate to ask a member of the team who will make the necessary arrangements for you.
If you have any concerns about accessing our building or have anxieties about your visit please speak to our friendly team. Wherever possible we will work hard to meet your individual requirements. Our dental practice has disabled access throughout, which consists of a disabled lift and spacious ground floor surgeries which can accommodate all wheelchair sizes. If you need to use the disabled lift and are accompanied by a relative or friend please ask them to ask a member of the reception team who will happily provide assistance to operate the lift.
Professional translation services are available on request for non-English speaking patients during all clinical consultations. Sign language interpreters are available for hearing impaired patients. To ensure we can meet your request please contact us on 0300 1239134 at least 24 hours before your appointment.
If you need urgent treatment outside normal practice hours please call 111.
Out of hours care relates to care after 6.00pm and before 8.00am everyday of the week. It also relates to weekends as we are not currently offering appointments on a weekend at present. This may change in time and so please revisit for updates on our opening hours.
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you must call 111 for a phone consultation with a trained advisor.
Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a dentist within the local area.

In the event that you are more than 40 miles away from the practice and in the UK you can visit any other dentist for advice or temporary emergency treatment up to your policy limits. If you do see an alternative dentist in an emergency, keep the payment receipt and then submit a claim form to Denplan for reimbursement.
If you are abroad and require emergency treatment you would need to arrange to see a dentist locally and again claim back the cost upon return. For help or advice whilst abroad call the Denplan 24-Hour Worldwide Emergency Helpline on +44 1962 844 999.
The practice is a family friendly practice and can offer appointments for families all together with any of the dentists of your choice. We especially encourage our younger patients and ensure their visit to us is as relaxed as possible creating a fun environment for the children.
