Jenny has worked as a dental nurse since 2001 but became a fully qualified nurse in 2006.  Since qualification Jenny has worked in both private and NHS practices and has been with us here at Liverpool Road Dental Practice since we opened in April 2011.  Jenny divides her time between surgery, but as she has successfully achieved the British Dental Association (BDA) course in Oral Health Education, is our fully qualified Oral Health Educator.  This enables Jenny to work with patients on a one to one basis to help them in improving their oral health, and she goes out and about in the community educating adults and children alike on how to achieve optimum oral health.  Jenny is also fully qualified in impression taking and has successfully completed a portfolio of practical work in this area so is able to provide greater support to the dentists in this area.  Jenny has a friendly and enthusiastic approach and can be relied upon to provide help, guidance and support to all of our patients, both new and existing.  Jenny successfully obtained a Fluoride Varnish Application qualification and is also able to provide flouride varnish applications on patients within surgery.   In her spare time Jenny enjoys travelling, jewellery making, cross-stitch, embroidery, baking, reading, badminton, going to the gym and is a budding author having published a trilogy of fantasy ficiton books.
